Welcome!
I'm originally from New Mexico and now divide my time between there and the Czech Republic. I've photographed international weddings in Prague and around Europe for years, and now photograph weddings in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and across New Mexico too.
My approach is mostly documentary. I pay attention to what is happening and give a little direction when it helps. During portraits, I use conversation and simple prompts so you have something to do together without having to perform for the camera.
You don't need to know how to pose. We can talk beforehand about what feels comfortable, what matters to you and how to make room for photographs without taking over the day.
My favorite thing about weddings is watching the stories unfold. It never happens exactly how you expect. Sometimes there's a stray roadrunner who steals the show. Other times, it might rain, so the sunset looks extra gorgeous. And most importantly, I always get to learn more about the couples I work with, and provide them with photos that capture their own unique and colorful ways of celebrating their journey together.
